Over the past year, our core team has been working on laying the foundation for long-term success of this team. The process has been deliberate and iterative. We are encouraged by the ideas that have been generated and the energy each member has shown thus far.
It has become more evident that this strategy of combining diversity (of thought, experience, expertise) together with unity of purpose (working together to improve our communities) is needed now more than ever. And so, this is a start. Our hope is that our strategy and our mission is reproduced and improved upon across the communities of our nation and around the world. We are looking forward to working with each of you leaders, sharing ideas, committing to actions, and improving the world.
We understand we are each working on our own careers and building our lives. We were (and still are) convinced that we must begin assembling our team to do what we can, where we are, with what we have now, while understanding that this is a long-term undertaking. The DICE Initiative (DICEi) is a team of leaders from a variety of backgrounds, communities, and professions, who are committed to improve ourselves and our communities, through collaborative efforts.
